Tagine

Tagine is a stew named after the pot it is coked in- a tagine.

It is very popular in Morocco and you can find it all over. 

It is slow cooked and made with meat, vegetables, and lots of seasoning. It is cooked in many different ways and can be cooked in a pan rather than a tagine.

Tea

Drinking tea is extremely common in Morocco. Moroccans typically eat dinner at around 9:00 pm so afternoon tea is used to tide people over for the 7 hours between lunch and dinner..

It is also a time for visitors and conversation among family and friends.
