Getting around in Morocco

The easiest way to get to Morocco is by plane, but you can take a ferry from France, Spain or Gibraltar.

I reccomend flying into Rabat, the capital city. Their airport is called the Rabat-Sale airport, in the heart of Morocco.

One way to get around Morocco is by grand taxi. Grand taxis are located on nearly every corner and often require switches between cars for longer trips. They are mainly used to get you from one town to it's neigboring town.

Trains and buses are also available but they obviously have routes and you are not able to get to every small town by train or bus.

Rural transportation

People in rural places walk, ride bicycles or motorcycles, or ride donkeys.

Buses and taxis are available in every city.

There are also several international and civil airports for use in Morocco.

City transportation

People flag cabs by pinting in the direction that they want to go.
